Riversdale Bridge

Dunsteel engineered a 300-metre-long trestle-style bridge to cross uneven terrain. The structure also supports a series of pod-style accommodation units, inspired by Bundanon’s design approach.

The project site was a rugged, flood-prone gully. To meet these conditions, the team used resilient steel fabrication techniques that preserved natural water flow and reduced site disturbance.

This approach mirrored the ecological sensitivity of Bundanon’s creative learning bridge, ensuring the structure worked in harmony with its surroundings.

The elevated design provides long-term durability while maintaining a minimal environmental footprint — delivering both functional lodging and architectural integration with the landscape.
