In collaboration with AW Edwards, Dunsteel delivered the stair systems for the new Sydney Trains Rail Operations Centre, the operational heart of Sydney’s suburban rail network.

This facility isn’t just another build, it’s the control hub for Sydney’s train movements, signalling and customer systems, operating 24/7. Every element of access had to be right, precise, coordinated and built to perform in a high-security environment that never sleeps.

Our scope centred on the key access systems, designing, fabricating and installing stair structures that support both the function and flow of this essential piece of infrastructure.
