Eleven levels of elegant, interconnecting feature stairs were fully prefabricated and factory-finished before being craned into the open atrium to connect L1 through L12. This approach saved months of on-site work and protected the building’s heritage finishes.

Dunsteel designed, fabricated, and installed the stair systems as part of a fast-track delivery in a live building environment. The process allowed ground-floor retail and internal operations to continue without interruption.

Precision logistics and staged installation ensured the stairs integrated smoothly with the existing heritage structure. The result is a striking architectural centrepiece that enhances vertical connectivity, site safety, and visitor flow — all while respecting the building’s heritage fabric and accelerating project timelines.
